First, the process is different:
Hot-dip galvanizing is to take the workpiece out after being immersed in the zinc solution for a certain period of time after degreasing, pickling, dipping, and drying.
Cold galvanizing can also be called electro galvanizing. It uses the electrolytic gear to put the workpiece directly into the zinc-sodium solution after degreasing and pickling, hooks the bad electrode from the electrolytic gear, and puts a zinc plate on the other end of the workpiece to connect with the electrolytic gear. The optimistic electrode is connected to a power source, and by the directed movement of the current from the positive electrode over the bad electrode, the zinc coating may be transferred around the workpiece.

The difference in appearance:
The appearance of electro-galvanized is quite generous and bright, and the electro-plating layer adopting the color passivation method can also use yellow environmental protection as the main color, which happens to be multi-colored. The electroplating layer using the bright white passivation method is bluish bright white, environmentally friendly and lightweight, and the bright white passivation method plating layer is slightly variegated after a certain angle. In the inner area, you can easily enter the current dead zone and provide the dark current grayscale area, and the zinc layer in this area is quite thin. The workpiece generally has no zinc tumor, agglomeration and other phenomena. The appearance of hot-dip galvanized is slightly rougher than that of electro-galvanized, and it is silvery white. The appearance is prone to ordinary water spots and small drops of water, especially on the primary finish of the workpiece. The hot-dip galvanized galvanized layer is dozens of times thicker than electro-galvanized, and the anti-rust performance is dozens of times that of electro-galvanized.

The difference between galvanized products:
1. The inner and outer surfaces of the hot-dip galvanized steel pipe are galvanized, while the cold-galvanized steel pipe is only galvanized on the outer wall.
2. The cold plating layer is consistent and the density is extremely thin, while the hot plating layer is thicker and the density is irregular.
3. Cold plating looks bright, and hot plating has a darker color.
4. The cold galvanized layer is thinner and has poor antirust performance. The hot galvanized layer is dozens of times thicker than the cold galvanized layer, and uses the underlying metal to form a permeable layer, which has excellent antirust performance.
5. The surface of cold-galvanized steel pipe is bright, generous and smooth. The appearance of hot-dip galvanized steel pipe is not as sensitive and bright as cold-galvanized steel pipe.
